Privacy Policy

Last updated: 28 September 2026

Meetwell ("we," "us," "our") helps people at different companies coordinate meetings by showing when everyone in a project group is free — without exposing what anyone's meetings are actually about. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

1. Information we collect

When you sign in with Google or Microsoft, we receive:

If you connect a calendar via an iCal/CalDAV feed URL instead, we store:

We also store information you provide directly while using Meetwell:

2. What we don't store or share

We never store or share the title, description, attendees, or location of your calendar events. Other members of your project groups see only whether you are busy or free. Because Google's events permission and Microsoft's availability response can technically include those details, our servers receive them briefly while working out your busy times, then discard them. We do not access your email, files, or any other data from your Google or Microsoft account.

Meetwell's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

3. How we use your information

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

4. Who can see your information

Your free/busy availability is visible only to other members of a project group you've joined — and only as busy/free blocks, never event details. Your name and email are visible to other members of your shared project groups so they know who they're scheduling with.

5. Service providers

We use the following third parties to operate Meetwell, each bound by their own privacy and security commitments:

6. Data retention and deletion

We retain your account and project data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time from your profile: click your name in the top-right corner, then Delete my account (or go directly to meetwellcalendar.com/account/delete). This permanently removes your profile, your connected calendars and stored calendar access tokens (and revokes Meetwell's access at Google), and your membership in all project groups. Project groups you own are handed over to a co-owner if they have one; otherwise they are deleted, and you're shown which ones before you confirm.

7. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and encrypted storage of calendar access tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's privacy

Meetwell is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

9. Where we operate, and international users

Meetwell is operated from Switzerland, and your information is processed in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP). Under the FADP, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and to object to certain processing — contact us using the details below to exercise these rights.

If you're located in the European Economic Area or UK, you may additionally have rights under the GDPR (such as data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority). Where we transfer data outside Switzerland or the EEA (for example, to our hosting or calendar-API providers), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the app before they take effect.

11. Contact us
